Vulvar cancer study may spare women invasive groin surgery

Summary
This study tests whether regular ultrasound checks can safely replace groin lymph node surgery in women with early-stage vulvar cancer. About 640 women will be randomly assigned to either ultrasound monitoring or standard surgery. The goal is to see if ultrasound can catch cancer spread just as well while causing fewer side effects and helping women return to daily life faster.
