Summary
This study looked at whether a special ultrasound technique can accurately measure liver fat in children aged 6-17 with suspected non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. About 90 children had both an ultrasound and an MRI scan. The goal was to see if the ultrasound results matched the MRI, which is the standard but more expensive and time-consuming method.
