Helmet uses sound waves to open Brain's barrier for cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT07179328

Summary

This study is testing whether a special helmet that uses focused ultrasound is safe and can temporarily open the brain's protective barrier. The goal is to help standard chemotherapy drugs reach brain tumors more effectively in adults with glioblastoma. Researchers will monitor 10 participants closely for safety and early signs of how well the treatment works while they continue their standard chemotherapy.
