Doctors test bedside ultrasound to Fine-Tune life support, aiming to get patients off ventilators faster
NCT ID NCT04966624
Summary
This study is testing a new approach to help patients with a severe type of lung failure called focal ARDS. Researchers will use a bedside ultrasound to look at the patient's lungs and then personalize the settings on the breathing machine. The goal is to see if this tailored strategy helps patients recover and spend fewer days needing the ventilator compared to the standard method.
