Doctors test ultrasound to Fine-Tune life support, aim to get patients off ventilators faster
NCT ID NCT04966624
Summary
This study is testing a new approach for patients with a severe lung injury called focal ARDS who are on a breathing machine. Researchers want to see if using lung ultrasound to guide personalized ventilator settings can help patients breathe on their own sooner. They will compare this personalized approach to the current standard way of using the ventilator.
