First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether an ultrasound-guided nerve block injection can reduce knee pain and improve walking in people with knee arthritis (gonarthrosis). About 30 adults aged 50 and older with persistent knee pain will receive either the active injection or a placebo (salt water). Researchers will measure pain, walking ability, and joint movement before treatment, one hour after, and one month later to see if the injection provides real relief.
