Simple neck scan could keep heart failure patients out of the hospital

Summary
This study is testing if using a bedside ultrasound to measure a neck vein can help doctors better manage fluid levels in people hospitalized for worsening heart failure. The goal is to see if this more precise approach can help patients leave the hospital with the right amount of fluid, which may reduce the chance they need to return within 30 days and help protect their kidneys from injury.
