First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests if an ultrasound-guided nerve block near the tailbone can control pain during hemorrhoid surgery as well as a standard spinal block. Fifty adults having hemorrhoid removal will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. Researchers will measure pain scores and how much extra pain medicine is needed after surgery.
