Brain zaps tested for COVID fog

NCT ID NCT07154199

Summary

This study is testing whether a brief, focused ultrasound treatment directed at a specific brain area can improve thinking problems like memory and concentration in people with long COVID brain fog. Researchers will enroll 40 people in Beijing who have had persistent brain fog for at least 4 weeks after a COVID-19 infection. Participants will receive either a real or a sham (fake) ultrasound treatment, and their brain activity and thinking skills will be measured before and after to see if the treatment helps.
