Summary
This study looks at 150 ICU patients with pneumonia who are on breathing machines. Doctors will use bedside ultrasound to measure the muscles that help with breathing, like the diaphragm. The goal is to see if these measurements can predict whether a patient can safely come off the ventilator. This could help doctors make better decisions and reduce complications.
