First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested the safety of a drug called UGN-201 in 10 people with bladder cancer who were scheduled to have their bladder removed (cystectomy). The main goal was to see if the drug caused any serious side effects before or after surgery. Researchers also looked at whether the drug helped shrink tumors and checked for changes in the immune system and other markers in blood, urine, and tumor tissue.
