Promising new treatment for rare muscle disease enters human trials

Summary
This study tests a drug called ublituximab for people with a rare autoimmune muscle disease (IMNM) that causes weakness. The trial will compare the drug to a placebo in 30 adults with early-stage disease. The goal is to see if adding ublituximab to standard therapy improves muscle strength and function over 24 weeks.
