New combo therapy targets hard-to-treat blood cancers in early trial

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new treatment called UB-VV111 given with the drug rapamycin for people with certain types of blood cancer (large B-cell lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia) that have returned or not responded to standard therapy. The study will enroll about 106 adults to check safety and see if the treatment shrinks tumors. The goal is to find a safe dose and measure how well the cancer responds.
