Summary
This study tests a typhoid vaccine (Vi-TCV) in 30,000 children aged 9 months to 12 years in Malawi. Half get the typhoid vaccine, half get a meningitis vaccine for comparison. Researchers track who gets typhoid to see if the vaccine works and is safe.
