NCT ID NCT01207349

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether teaching people with type 2 diabetes about healthy eating and exercise, plus checking in with them every three months, helps control their blood sugar better than no follow-up. 398 adults took part. After one year, researchers compared blood sugar levels and other health measures between the group that got regular support and the group that did not.
