Drug could speed up healing after breast surgery
NCT ID NCT07131592
Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called tranexamic acid (TXA) can help patients recover faster after breast reduction surgery. TXA helps reduce bleeding. Researchers want to see if giving it during and after surgery can reduce fluid buildup, allowing surgical drains to be removed sooner and potentially improving the healing process.
