New study aims to cut blood loss in Children's hip surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether giving children a medicine called tranexamic acid during hip reconstruction surgery can reduce blood loss and the need for blood transfusions. The trial will include 400 children who are scheduled for this type of surgery. Researchers will measure blood loss during the operation and track any side effects.
