IV fluids tested to get women home faster after incontinence surgery

NCT ID NCT02443987

Summary

This study looked at whether giving women intravenous (IV) fluids during a common surgery for stress urinary incontinence would help them urinate sooner afterward. The goal was to see if this could shorten the hospital stay and improve the patient's overall experience. Researchers compared two groups: one that received IV fluids and one that did not, measuring how long it took each to urinate for the first time after the procedure.
