IV fluids tested to get women home faster after incontinence surgery

NCT ID NCT02443987

Summary

This study looked at whether giving intravenous (IV) fluids during a common surgery for stress urinary incontinence helps women urinate sooner afterward. Researchers compared two groups of women having the procedure: one group received IV fluids, and the other did not. The goal was to see if the fluids could shorten the recovery wait time, allowing patients to go home earlier and improve their overall experience.
