New combo therapy aims to tackle Hard-to-Treat prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT05743621

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether adding an experimental drug (TVB-2640) to the standard drug enzalutamide is safe for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 30 men will take part, and researchers will monitor side effects and find the best dose. The goal is to see if this combination can be given safely, not yet to prove it works.
