First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at 80 adults having nose surgery (septorhinoplasty) to fix a deviated septum and improve appearance. Some also got a procedure to shrink enlarged tissue inside the nose (inferior turbinate reduction). The goal was to see if the extra step helps with nasal breathing. Researchers measured symptoms and airflow for 6 months after surgery.
