Nose job debate: extra surgery may not improve breathing
NCT ID NCT07481045
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at people having nose surgery (septorhinoplasty) to fix both breathing and appearance. Some also had a small extra procedure to reduce swollen tissue inside the nose. The goal was to see if the extra step actually helps breathing better. 80 adults were followed for 6 months using breathing tests and symptom questionnaires.
