Summary
This study looks at whether doctors are properly reporting small cancer spots called tumor deposits in rectal cancer patients. These deposits can signal a higher risk of cancer returning, but they were often missed under older staging systems. Researchers will compare reports from before and after 2018 to see if the new system helps catch them. The goal is to ensure patients get the right treatments based on their true risk.
