Summary
This study compared two ways of doing minimally invasive surgery for lung cancer. One method uses a breathing tube and ventilator, while a newer 'tubeless' method lets patients breathe on their own. Researchers wanted to see if the tubeless method causes less lung damage, helps patients recover faster, and is better for the environment by using fewer anesthetic gases.
