First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This early-stage study explores whether combining transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) and MRI images can help doctors more accurately guide needles during brachytherapy (internal radiation) for uterine cancer. Researchers will enroll 17 adults with uterine or cervical cancer who are scheduled for curative radiation. The goal is simply to see if the images can be successfully fused, not to test treatment outcomes.
