New online program helps men with prostate cancer feel supported

Summary

This study tested a web-based program called True North Peer Navigation for men recently treated for prostate cancer. The program connects men with trained peer navigators who provide practical information and emotional support. Researchers measured whether the program helped men take a more active role in their health and improved their quality of life. 184 men from cancer centers across Canada took part.
