New heart valve repair offers hope for High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT06700239
Summary
This study is testing a catheter-based device called MIA-T that aims to repair a leaky tricuspid heart valve without open-heart surgery. It will involve 600 patients with severe valve leakage who are too high-risk for traditional surgery. The goal is to see if this less invasive approach can reduce hospitalizations and improve survival compared to current medical treatment alone.
