Experimental combo aims to outsmart resistant cancers

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug called TRC102 to standard chemotherapy (cisplatin and pemetrexed) can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with advanced solid tumors or mesothelioma that has not responded to prior treatment. About 30 adults will take part. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination works better than standard treatment alone.
