First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether changing the fat profile of milk (by altering cows' diets) could affect heart disease risk factors in healthy adults. 107 volunteers consumed different milk fats with varying levels of natural trans fats. Researchers measured cholesterol and other blood fats to see if natural milk trans fats are better or worse for heart health.
