NCT ID NCT04838418

First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple, non-invasive eye ultrasound can help predict brain damage and survival in people who have had a cardiac arrest. Researchers will measure the optic nerve sheath diameter in 80 adults and compare it to other standard tests. The goal is to find a fast, bedside method to guide treatment decisions.
