Scientists hunt for clues to breast cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT05529862
First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at tumor and blood samples from 115 people with a common type of advanced breast cancer (HR+/HER2-). The goal is to find genetic markers that predict whether a combination of hormone therapy and a targeted drug (ribociclib) will work. By comparing samples taken before and after treatment, researchers hope to understand why some patients benefit and others relapse, paving the way for more personalized care.
