Summary
This study tested two drug combinations in 42 people with advanced uveal melanoma, a rare eye cancer that has spread. The goal was to see if adding a second drug (GSK2141795) to trametinib could better slow cancer growth. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either trametinib alone or both drugs together. The study measured how long it took for the cancer to progress and monitored side effects.
