First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at two different ways to train for a 5-kilometer race: polarized training (mostly easy runs with some hard efforts) and threshold training (focusing on a steady, moderately hard pace). About 20 recreational runners aged 20 to 45 will follow a 12-week program to see which method improves race time and body composition more. The goal is to help runners choose the best training style for their goals.
