New tool aims to remove travel hurdles for cancer patients getting radiation

NCT ID NCT06541158

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study tests a program called TRACT that helps cancer patients find transportation to their radiation treatments. Many patients miss or delay care due to travel problems, which can affect their health. The program will be offered to 76 adults with solid tumors who are getting radiation therapy. Researchers will see if the tool is easy to use and if it helps patients attend all their appointments and feel less stressed.
