Doll play could take the sting out of shots for young children
NCT ID NCT07378995
Summary
This study is testing if a special therapeutic toy doll can help reduce fear, anxiety, and pain for young children getting a shot. Researchers will compare 80 children aged 4-6 who play with the doll before their injection to children who get the shot using the usual clinic routine. The goal is to find a simple, play-based method to make medical procedures less stressful for kids.
