New study aims to make arm surgery safer for patients with high blood pressure

Summary

This study looks at two different methods of releasing a tourniquet (a tight band that stops blood flow) after upper arm surgery in people with high blood pressure. The goal is to see which method causes a smaller drop in blood pressure. The study will include 68 adults with controlled high blood pressure who are scheduled for arm surgery.
