First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether a slow-release version of the water pill torsemide works better than the standard version at reducing urgent, frequent urination in people with chronic heart failure. 24 adults aged 50 and older with both conditions took each version for four weeks. The goal was to see if the extended-release form improves quality of life and reduces bladder symptoms.
