Summary
This study tested a special type of lens implant (toric IOL) in 236 children aged 3 to 8 who had cataracts and significant astigmatism. The goal was to see if these lenses improve vision better than standard ones over three years after surgery. The children were followed for three years, and their eyesight, eye pressure, and lens stability were measured. The results help doctors choose the best lens for young patients.
