Summary
This early-stage study tested whether it is safe to deliver the chemotherapy drug topotecan directly into the brain over several days for people with recurrent high-grade gliomas (a type of aggressive brain cancer). Five participants received the treatment through a special infusion system. The main goal was to find a dose that causes only mild side effects, while also checking if the drug reaches the tumor and shrinks it.
