First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether applying a topical steroid (triamcinolone acetonide) to the roof of the mouth after gum graft surgery can speed up healing, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. About 55 adults needing a gum graft will be randomly assigned to receive either the steroid or a standard collagen dressing. Researchers will check wound healing, scarring, pain, and daily-life impact over 30 days.
