NCT ID NCT07033845
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This early-phase trial is testing a topical phenylephrine solution in 24 healthy women aged 18-55 to see how much of the drug enters the bloodstream and how safe it is. The goal is to gather information that could help develop a treatment for chemotherapy-induced hair loss. Participants apply the solution daily to their scalp for three weeks, and researchers measure drug levels in the blood and check for side effects like blood pressure changes or skin reactions.
