First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study will test whether a gel containing dutasteride can treat facial acne better than a standard gel that combines three drugs (clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide, and adapalene). About 50 adults with acne will use one gel on half their face and the other gel on the other half for 12 weeks. Researchers will count pimples, check skin improvement, and monitor side effects.
