First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a special marker that contains numbing medicine. When applied to the skin, it may reduce pain from needle pricks. Twenty adults will have the marker applied to their forearm and then receive light pricks every 10 minutes for 40 minutes. The goal is to see how well and how quickly the marker works compared to untreated skin.
