Summary
This study tested three different toothpastes to see which one best repairs early-stage tooth decay (cavities). Thirty healthy adults wore special removable mouth appliances containing small tooth samples for three separate week-long periods. Researchers measured how well each toothpaste helped rebuild weakened tooth enamel and delivered cavity-fighting fluoride.
