Mouth appliance test reveals best toothpaste for fighting cavities

NCT ID NCT07419763

Summary

This study tested three different toothpastes to see which one was best at repairing early-stage tooth decay (cavities). Thirty healthy adults wore a special removable mouthpiece containing small pieces of weakened tooth enamel for several weeks. Researchers measured how well each toothpaste helped harden the enamel and deliver fluoride to the teeth.
