Summary
This study tested an experimental toothpaste with stannous fluoride against regular fluoride toothpaste in 154 adults with mild gum disease (gingivitis). The goal was to see if it could reduce gum bleeding and plaque buildup over 12 weeks. Results showed the special toothpaste improved gum health more than the standard one.
