Summary
This study tested an experimental toothpaste with stannous fluoride, zinc, and alumina against regular fluoride toothpaste in 175 adults with mild to moderate gingivitis. Over 4 weeks, researchers measured gum bleeding and plaque buildup to see if the new toothpaste improved gum health. The goal was to find a better option for daily oral care.
