Summary

This study tested a special toothpaste with stannous fluoride, zinc, and alumina to see if it improves gum health and reduces plaque better than regular fluoride toothpaste. 175 adults with mild to moderate gingivitis used the toothpaste for 4 weeks. The main goal was to measure gum bleeding, a sign of gum disease.
