Does your toothpaste prevent stains from braces?
NCT ID NCT06833970
Summary
This study aimed to see if different types of toothpaste could prevent tooth discoloration and white spots in people wearing fixed braces. Researchers followed 45 patients, dividing them into three groups, each using a different toothpaste (fluoride, lactoperoxidase, or fluoride-free). They used special scans and photos to measure changes in tooth color and health over the course of orthodontic treatment.
