Can your toothbrush fight gum disease? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06565897
Summary
This study tested whether specific manual toothbrushes could help reduce dental plaque and mild gum inflammation (gingivitis) over six weeks. Adult participants with existing plaque and gingivitis used the toothbrushes at home as instructed and returned for check-ups. Researchers measured changes in plaque buildup and gum health to see if the toothbrushes were effective.
